About
A map of Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area mechanics
Wenmar Find shows every auto repair shop we know of in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area, with its specialties, hours, photos, and reviews from people who used it. It is free for drivers and free for shops, and made by Wenmar Pro, shop management software for independent garages.
How shops are ranked
The list beside the map is ordered the same way for everyone:
- Rating, adjusted for how many reviews there are. Each shop's average is pulled toward 4 stars as if it had 5 extra reviews at that rating, so two five-star reviews do not outrank forty at 4.8. A review of an unverified visit counts 0.5 of a verified one.
- Then the number of verified reviews.
- Then the distance from the middle of the map.
Being a Wenmar Pro customer does not move a shop up. It is a filter ("Books online"), never a hidden boost. Nobody can pay to be ranked higher.
Verified reviews
A verified visit review comes from a single-use link sent after a real invoice or booking at a shop that uses Wenmar Pro. Other reviews show as unverified visit: written by a signed-in account with a confirmed email, or from a review card at the shop's counter. Read the review policy.
